Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a transnational exchange program that offers new entrepreneurs and people who want to start a business the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs who run small businesses in participating countries.

The exchange of experiences takes place within the framework of stays with experienced entrepreneurs during which new entrepreneurs will be able to acquire the skills necessary to run a small or medium-sized business (from 1 to 6 months in European countries and from 1 to 3 months outside of Europe).

Hosts benefit from a new perspective on their business and gain the opportunity to cooperate with foreign partners or learn about new markets.

From the Canary Islands Institute of Technology, we have been working actively since 2009 as a contact point for the program, to facilitate exchanges of experiences, learning and networking between new entrepreneurs and experienced entrepreneurs.

ITC participates in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program through the OPEN-EYE-11 project: https://www.open-eye.net
