The Canary Islands Institute of Technology receives a total of 1,824,649 euros from regional grants to strengthen its R&D&i infrastructure with the aim of supporting the technological development of the marine biotechnology and water treatment industries
Among the projects granted in 2021 by the Canarian Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI) with the aim of investing in public R&D infrastructure on the islands, supported by the regional funding schemes which are cofinanced at 85% within the framework of the Canary Islands Operational Programme FEDER 2014-2020, we find the BIOSOST-ESC and AQUASOST initiatives through which the Canary Islands Institute of Technology (ITC) seeks to promote technological and industrial development in blue biotechnology and the water cycle, respectively.
