Young pre-doctorate researchers hired by eight European universities and research centers, including the Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias, investigate new inclusive and sustainable energy scenarios within the Smart-BEEjS initiative, funded by the Marie Curie programme
Smart-BEEjS (Human-Centric Energy Districts), a project focused on the positive energy district model where consumers assume the role of producers, aims to train a new generation of researchers in order to encourage innovative responses towards a fair, inclusive and affordable energy model. The Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (ITC) is part of this international network of research training centers along with seven other organizations from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, Italy and Austria.
