Description

The objective of the action is to improve the business spirit, the internationalisation and competitiveness of micro-companies and of small and medium-sized companies of recent creation, as well as to help possible new businesspeople in the EU.

The aim of this project is to grant subventions to those business ideas or new business projects which make it possible for new entrepreneurs to learn from more experienced businesspeople in other member states of the EU with a view to facilitating the exchange of experiences and the creation of networks.




The project is structured in the following tasks to be carried out during a twenty-five month period. (December 2008 - January 2011):

  • Information and search for new entrepreneurs (NE).
  • Promotion and participation of experienced businesspeople (HE).
  • Process of applications from NE and HE.
  • Comparison of profiles of NE and HE..
  • Management of contracts and agreements..
  • Information and training.
  • Logistical support.
  • Financial assistance.
  • Quality control and evaluation.
  • Networking.
  • Reports of results.

General purpose

The programme stimulates entrepreneurship, competitiveness, internationalisation and growth of start-ups and established SMEs in the EU. The programme contributes to the transfer of know-how and building of management skills essential for the running of an SME.

Specific purposes

  • Coordinating European consortium (8 intermediary organisations)
  • Coordination meetings of the network with the European Commission
  • Successful completion of 80 stays of entrepreneurs in the consortium
  • 12 stays of European entrepreneurs with host entrepreneurs canaries (ITC)
  • 12 stays of canaries entrepreneurs in Europe (FEULL and FULP)
